Certain Parts, Bouncy Ponytails, and Strawberry Milk

17 07 2009

Today I was so bored I decided to go out for a run. This turned out to be good for me because I realized how out of shape I was, always bumming on the couch or sitting at the computer. Also, I realized that you shouldn’t wear stretchy tops with low necklines while running. They only emphasize certain parts that you do not want people looking at, particularly when said parts — however tiny they may be — are bouncing as you run.

So I was running for a good 20 minutes when I passed by my house, contemplating whether I should push on or just end the pain and head inside. And I saw this girl run by who looked to be in pretty good shape, and she inspired me to not be such a wimp. And so, wanting to look sporty like her, I decided to zip to the house to get a scrunchy and tie my hair into a high, bouncy ponytail. And I headed back out to continue my run for another 15, 20 minutes.

Of course, I stopped by Rite Aid as I was walking home and bought strawberry milk, which was a good 400 calories, but I didn’t care. I still consider myself thin, and it just tastes so darn yummy.
